Slatwall coverings are available in the affordable and durable Melamine, High Pressure Laminate (HPL), Formica, Veneer, Wilson Art, and more.
A Slatwall Panels is made of a MDF type of particleboard panel, that can be either painted or covered with a standard color or a more attractive pattern type covering such a wood finish or any type of desirable pattern you choose. Once the covering is applied to the wood, the groves are then cut in a standard 3 inch on center or 6 inch on center configuration. Groves can also be cut into a custom configuration by special order.
We have a plastic insert available for slatwall designed as a more protective coating that will prevent damage to the groves and an aluminum insert that will spread the load of a slatwall hook or shelf across the entire groove. the slatwall inserts are placed inside the machine groves of the slatwall panel. The grooves of the panel must be machined out to the correct size to accept the insert. an insert cannot be added to an existing slatwall unless it is machined to the correct size.
